The Universal Institute Colombo(UIC), is a dedicated venture of its founder, Dr. Nishantha Karunarathna. Founded in 2013, June 12 in Horton Place, Colombo -7 as a conventional education Institute and operated successfully with blessing from our students and parents until our business was badly hit by the Covid -19 pandemic. Had a very humble beginning with just one student at very first month of starting business, we steadily captured the pace of the education market by proving a service to a large number of students over the past 10 years.
Due to its unique location, our Institute had a significant number of students from nearby schools and elites live around Colombo-7. During covid -19 pandemic, we to had to closedown our physical classes and opted for online teaching. Currently we have 32 dedicated teachers and we teach over 1215 students Islandwide (online) and now our service is globally available.
