The Universal Institute Colombo is a registered Institute of Sri Lanka with 10 years operation history. In the past we have taught over 4000 students and we have rich experience in Edexcel, Cambridge and IB curricula. Most of our students have scored higher grades and some are holding very high ranking positions in Europe, New Zealand, Australia and US. Our director is a PhD holder with extensive experience in education field. To support students well, we have carefully selected teachers to assist in our classes.

The Universal Institute Colombo is known for producing successful, versatile students and one of the reasons for this is our use of innovative teaching methods. One of these innovative techniques is problem-based learning which is widely use teaching method in UK high schools. Alongside problem-based learning, traditional theory-based lectures are combined with group discussions and one-to-one tutorials that develop your child’s analytical and communication skills through discussion.
